POST SALARY: £25,213.50 pro rata depending on hours and experience. 

HOURS OF WORK: Part time including evenings and  weekend work 

POST LOCATIONS: Trust Links Project Sites across South Essex. You may be required to work at any Trust Links project site and community venues across Essex (plus opportunities to work from home).

We run youth sessions throughout the week and are looking for a flexible individual who can commit to at least 2 daytime sessions and 2 evening sessions a week for the part time role. Session times vary, with the earliest start at 8.30am and the latest finish at 8pm, although these do not need to be worked in the same day.  We also have the opportunity to join Trust Links as a Bank worker within our Children, Youth and Families team with the potential to also support wider across Trust Links.

The Postholder will be required to:   

  • Deliver children, young people and families projects at Trust Links including Learning Together, Youth Links, Bouldering Together, Dig It Youth, Forest School and Transition Age sessions. 
  • Promote children and youth projects, liaising with schools, family centres, social care, youth council and other relevant services under the guidance of Children, Youth & Families Team Manager and Leads. 
  • Oversee and assist the work of volunteers delivering children and youth projects at Trust Links. 
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of projects.

POST SALARY: £12.93 per hour depending on skills, qualifications and experience

HOURS OF WORK: Sessional (depending on needs of the projects) 

POST LOCATIONS: Trust Links Westcliff, Shoeburyness, Thundersley Basildon, Rochford, Canvey Island and Cressing Temple Centres and partner sites.You may be required to work at any Trust Links project site.

The Postholder will be required to:   

  • Provide day to day advice, direction and support for members (beneficiaries) of the Growing Together projects, Recovery College services or other Trust Links projects 
  • Develop, lead and deliver activities and courses with individuals and groups of adults, young people, children and/or families 
  • Work with the staff team and volunteers to improve outcomes and wellbeing for project members, supporting their recovery and holistic needs 

This role is primarily to support the Children, Youth and Families projects, but you may also have the opportunity to work across other Trust Links services.
